Is Gata right for you?

Works best for teams that...

  • Process 1,000+ tickets per month in Zendesk
  • Spend significant time manually triaging or mis-routing tickets
  • Want AI-powered routing without sharing ticket data with a third party
  • Have (or can create) an AWS account

You'll need to deploy

  • An AWS account with a VPC and private subnets
  • SageMaker quota increases โ€” allow a few business days
  • Amazon Nova foundation models enabled in your AWS account
  • Terraform, Python 3.13, and Docker installed locally

Full deployment covers Terraform infrastructure, Docker image builds, model fine-tuning, and Zendesk integration. The quickstart guide walks through every step. If you'd prefer it handled for you, Dave Hall Consulting can deploy, tune, and support Gata on your behalf.

Routing Accuracy

Results are from a production deployment. Routing accuracy is measured against the team assigned when each ticket closes; the model retrains weekly on fresh ticket data. Resolution time and ROI figures reflect outcomes measured against a pre-deployment baseline. Per ticket infrastructure cost targets US$0.02โ€“0.05 at volume.

Our Story

Gata Router was created to change how customer support operates. It began with a simple idea: use machine learning to take the manual work out of ticket triage.

The name "Gata" comes from the Greek word for cat, symbolizing our software's agility and intelligence. It's also a playful acronym for "Yet Another Ticket Allocator", as gata is pronounced "yata".

Our mission is to empower support teams by providing them with intelligent tools that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The Technology

Gata Router uses a BERT model fine-tuned on your own ticket history for routing decisions, Amazon Nova Micro for prioritisation, and Nova Lite for generating summaries when tickets close. Every model runs serverlessly in your AWS account โ€” your ticket data never leaves your infrastructure.

You only pay for what you use. There are no standing compute costs between tickets, so low-volume periods don't inflate your bill.

Gata plugs straight into Zendesk, so your team keeps their current workflow while the routing improves around them.
